Rhapsody is near. Panic button pls! Jus 15 more days!

... Random outburst again. My apologies. Anyways. Rhapsody IX. It's 15 days away... Full steam ahead into rehersals! Today's prac... Umm... What shld I say... Was OK, I guess.

We did one more full performance rehearsal today... For just the 2nd half. Worse than last time, but still good, i guess. The senior choir got praised again by Jun Yew. Duh, they have tons more experience than us.

Orange got on EVERYONE'S nerves AGAIN. No surprise. This time tho, he was a lil worse... He... REFUSED TO STAND PROPERLY. He... SAT LYING DOWN. All this during performance rehearsal. Li Keen gave him a good talking to, so I heard.

Ugh... Mood ruined... Ciao.

Rhapsody is approaching...

Oh man. I wanted to update abt 5 hours ago, but I FORGOT! Sorry!

Ok, so as I said in the title, Rhapsody IX is approaching. Just 17 days. The seniors are getting desperate. Now we're rushing to fine tune everything - Choreo, songs, entry, final pose, encore, etc. So, as I was saying. Today's prac was the best one in a while. We ran thru the entire performance in one go. Lovely. So fun trying to coordinate the exits and entries with the piano parts. Then some songs suddenly got sped up for NO REASON WHATSOEVER. That's fine tho, the tempo was quite nice.

Conclusion: Rhapsody IX is gonna be great! Cant wait!

Anyways, I may hav to go for one to ones on Saturday, brr... Scary...

Ok, not much 2 say 2day since 2day was school holiday for us. Ciao.

Let's SING!

... Ok, that was very random. I'm sure you all agree. Erm.. I have become slightly crazier since I joined choir. Duh, since I have singing addiction, I had expected the CCA to turn me into a CRAZED SINGING FREAK. Not that I care, I have no regrets about choosing this CCA.

Enough about that. Time to talk about today's choir prac. Today's one was 'fruitful', so says my seniors. Well, I have to agree with them, the quality of the singing has improved tremendously from last prac. Luckily there was no choreo recap today! Those are RIDICULOUSLY funny!

Moving on to sectionals, my SL was in a way better mood than ever before today. He actually joked with us! There was a Sec 1 sectional later in the prac, and his good mood continued. He let us sing any song we wanted, and we ended up singing Fireflies by voting. Haha...

OMG look at the time I gotta go. Ciao!

Title is self-explainatory. This post is done completely out of boredom and as such contains nothing worth reading.

Sigh... Where is my friend when i need him... Um, dun get me wrong, it's for a project. I need him to rush out an experiment proposal by Monday and i can't seem to reach him! Ugh, of all times... Oh, ENOUGH with the complaints.

Ok, I am SUPPOSED to be discussing a primary school gathering with my frens NOW, but both of them can't contacted, AS USUAL. Oh, there I go complaining again. WHATEVER. Well, it's a early to discuss the programme, since it's a teachers' day gathering, very kiasu wat. I'm a typical Singaporean. Lol. But it's actually a perfect time, since there like a PERFORMANCE. Rehersals are required...

Argh... Bored.. I guess I'll stop writing here. Cya next post.

My mood is in severe mode. Do not ask why, because I'm about to tell.
Firstly, we had a fruitless choir prac today. We spent the whole prac singing just 2 songs, the 2nd one over and over. Of cos, the results were not satisfactory to our seniors. Ugh.. Not that we weren't putting our best into it.. Anyway, jus hav to hold on, the day is coming...

RHAPSODY IX (VS Choir Concert)

This is a bi-annual concert. This one shall mark the ninth concert.
Venue: Victoria Concert Hall (VCH)
Date: 25 April 2010, Sunday

Well.. This is irrelevant, since i didn't put ticket prices, so... WHO CARES. Anyway, my singing addiction is getting worse. I'm singing more often in class now. Haha. Well, here's some motivation for all of you reading this post and have problems.
"Keep holding on, cuz you know you'll make it through"
This is something our senoirs in choir are saying, with Rhapsody coming closer and all. Well, hope this was able to motivate you guys to never give up. Just remember, tomorrow will be a better day.

CNY Celebration and P6 Class Gathering

You ask why I laugh. Well, today was really fun! VS had the CNY celebration together with the Total Defence Day commeration. Needless to say, everyone preferred the celebration. After all, no one likes to listen to solemn recounts of history, for they are past. The present and future are what we should look forward. However, it still stands that there will be no future without the past. But still...
Enough about that. The best was yet to come. Most of us looked forward to dismissal, not because we wanted to go home, but because we had P6 class gatherings to attend. I naturally wanted to rush back to MBS to see my friends again. I can say that I got a pleasant surprise when I got there. Friends who said that they could not attend the gathering had made time to come! It was heartwarming to see that wanted to come and see their friends so badly. In fact, we've already planned the next gathering! Haha!
